reverse the pendulum

i was looking at my friendster pic...and looking thru my friend lists , notice that all of them have changed since they left sec sch...i felt that i have not really pull myself out of secondary sch memories...both the good and bad memories.....haha...all the pics that im seeing...are so nostalgic...when i rethink those moments...whether good or bad...they are interesting and memorable, thats why this post that im writing will be solely dedicated to the secondary school memories that i have...those that i can rmb...and so im gonna stop the pendulum and reverse the time back to when im in sec one.....

secondary one,

very happy that i got into hillgrove sec...my 1st step to achieving my goal to study at poly. went for an orientation....gotta know my new classmates...some of them i know, some of them i jus knew lol...oh yea....one thing about my sch...my sch was not situated in bukit batok st 52 in the past...last time when im in sec 1, hillgrove was sharing wif yusof ishak sec sch....nice field, nice food, nice transportation(public buses) lol....met alot of new friends when im there...and they stay inside my memories forever they are : long lin, maggie, wen xia, suet may, wei shan, daryll, liang chai, syafiq...we are a lively bunch...YISS canteen food is nice too haha...anyway...we are in the 2nd shift and therefore afternoon session, meaning go back late...lol...i rmb theres one time when i take the wrong bus to YISS lol...took 66 instead of 77...freak me out...haha...got out of the bus and ran all the way to YISS the big gate...haha...heng ar...my sec 1 sch tcher is a bitch...thats all i can say haha...very seldom i can say that abt tcher...but yes...my sec 1 tcher is a bitch...ms wang u heard me loud and clear, i hate u to the core till now, the humiliation u made to me...to those who are blur y i said that, i will tell u now....as u all know , in sec sch we have something call spontenous writing aka like a weekly journal of wad happen this wk tmd...we that time noob wad...dunno wad to write...so poor me write one that clearly said that i have made friends in my 1st wk of sch and that he(long lin) is special becos he came from the same lengendary sch as my pri form tcher who had always boasted this infront of the class saying rulang pri is the best....she took my work..and read it out to class...embarrassed me is enuf...now i felt that this make long lin embarrassed as well...wad the hell la...this humilation...though after afew years liao...still stay in me...then....comes the day we finally gt a place of our own and we 'move house' to our new home haha...then when we are much settled...in come the hmwks...-.-...its then i explore my sch...know the side walks, know every corner of the sch...including places where there is no counsellors(prefects) around...in the end....within 1/2 a year i gt the map of the sch at the back of my hands liao...wahaha...im a regular of the teacher's room as well! haha...no..not that i have been bad or broken any rules...i go there jus to chat and visit the teachers haha...studies did not go really well for me in sec 1...though i gt promoted to sec 2 i was demoted to 2A2(i was previously 1A1) means to say that my grade sux...i was disappointed. and so i plan to buck up nxt yr...=D

secondary 2,

return back to sch after the december hols...found myself in a new environment and new people...ok they are not very new la...i met some of them b4....ah....one reason y i felt disappointed that i dropped to 2A2 is becos 2A2...is a rowdy bunch of ppl....3/4 make up of bengs and lians....but our new form teacher is very good....he is mr bala...the teacher that change my life in sec 2....i have told my friends and all b4 and i will say again, my 'golden year' in my whole secondary life is in sec 2...y? i will elaborate on that later...haha...lets continue the story...anyway...mr bala was our new form teacher, and we , like most students, are alittle skeptical in the way he teach and we look at his attitude towards us...i found that he is really a nice and paitent teacher who would go the extra length to make us understand something...because of his teaching...my math was able to score well(he is also our math teacher).but he is the kind of person that believe no student is bad from the beginning....he even made the class ah beng, raynard. class chairman! haha...at 1st i was like "shit la...this class gone liao" but then raynard show interest in his work as chairman and can band the class together...haha...our class sometimes produce separate groups de...haha...for me...2A2 was differentiated to 2 types of ppl, they are the can study and boh chup study ppl. me of cos as wad i have aim last yr...was in the can study grp...cos i that time is a chiongster...that yr was havoc...but i manage to survive till now and made new friends, they are terry, boon wah, jia jun, phyllis, pei rong,maggie. they are friends whom i can say help me out when we are studying or slacking...haha...i still had 8 subject during my sec 2...lets recall...math, english, science, mother tongue, geog, history and litreature. home economics and D&T ...total 9 subjects...of the 9 the one i hate most is litreature and the one i have absolutely no interest in is geog. i hate lit. not because i dun like the subject...lit is about reading and i love reading...wad i hate is the teacher that teach us lit. she talks with a british accent and dunno hw to teach...and she is a frigging HOD!! therefore she always lose control of the whole class...i rmb gt one time she lose control of the class again...she talk we oso talk lol...then xian yao go and play a prank on her...use the johnson baby powder and jus spray the powder...at the butt XD....we all tio shock..heard that it could result in the whole class kena caning...but then i was at that 1/2 excited 1/2 scared...so me and my afew friends advise him to clear it away...in a proper way la...lol..wad he do? he go to the teacher and smack her BUTT ,OMG!! we tio stun! the teacher oso tio stun and say "wad are u trying to do?!" lol he rply :"ur bottom gt powder la tcher..help u clear it" lol...she hear liao oso diam diam...lol...wth...then gt another incident is something i will always rmb de...that is when marshall go challenge xian yao and raynard to throw a chair at him...wad an idiot..he is a guy whom u can describe as a combination of asshole, bastard, or wadeva shit name u can think of. ...so this incident happen when its during MT period...tcher in class oso..lol...take note ar..tcher in class....he challenge them,....then they really throw the chair...and hit his knees...lol..guess wad he did? HE SIT ON THE GROUND AND CRY!LOL! the class was having mixes of laughter and shock and awe...the 2 girls give him tissue...then he reject their offer lol..then they place the tissue on the ground...THEN HE TAKE.....lol! after awhile he stood up say he go complain OM...tell those 2 to watch it...then he really go down....lol...after awhile he return back with the OM...the OM ask the whole class "hey...what happen?" we all say we dunno...then he ask the tcher "what happen ar?" she said "i dunno, i came here he like that le" LOL SADDED! nobody help him...shows hw much he is hated by the class....so funny sia...then i gt like no more big incident is talk abt liao...lol...i was expecting alot of canings but that yr onli gt 1...lol...as for exams...this is where i said i like i sec 2 again! cos i remained 1st in class for that entire year...my favourite has always been history...so its expected to see an A in my report card...lol...1st time see my dad so proud of me during parent meet session though i still dread that session. anyway...at the end of the yr...i gt an good improvement award from MP and gt an $20 popular voucher for being best in history...rank 16 among the rest of the N(a)classes. pass my sec2 yrs so peacefully...then in comes the 2 dark yrs of my sec sch life : sec 3&4

secondary 3:

back in class to find alot of familiar faces...some from 2a2 some from 2a1 and afew express students...lol...and its so happen that they are the guys i noe back from when im in sec 1! lol...during this yr...i sort of form a clique with these guys...my buddies are alex, yan kun, rei heng, mark, meng hui, boon wah...ghim hong(some1 whom later then join), han zheng....and we sorta call ourself GGFO xD rh is by default the chairperson...whether he like it or not...alex is our tai kor...haha...as for me...im jus ranked 4th...according the the b-daes...meng was 5th...haha...last was hz...lol...during this yr its a good thing that i know them...cos they help me out alot...lol..anyway...sec 3 i learning new subject...drop dnt and home econs, geog and lit...took up history and principle of accounts...lol...our new math tcher...was the best...she is ms karen ang...angel on the outside devil on the inside...can be nice but scary at the same time...lol....but she is a good tcher...lol...our chem tcher is mr. thiru, cranky tcher...give every1 nickname...mine is capt. hao kai...-.-...cos i wear my shorts...higher than other students...lol...english tcher is mrs tham, an excellent tcher...mdm sarah, our form tcher as well as our combined humanities...nice tcher...made me improve on my copying speed and scribbling skills....and some other tcher i cant rmb well to describe...lol...anyway...in this new class of mine...there are some bastards as well...they are yi yang, clapton and marshall. marshall manage to pass sec2 something which i din expect...but he was trash by this class as well...wad a noob...then he flunk in the end...think after that something made him realise that he shld change and become more....not so qian da...as for yi yang and clapton? they pick on me...bastards...and my dark days begin...everyday have to endure taunts and pranks by them...childish...i dunwan to take action cos i still believe tcher will do something abt this...turns out im wrong...wtf man this cont. till the end of the yr...every nite i had dreams on how i whack the shit out of them...din happen in the end...either i had a very good tolerence or that i have no guts...i think its either...lol...cos i always think what could happen if i fight back...if they whack me i whack back...means either side is wrong...if they whack me nia then its their fault nia...ur names kena blacklisted and could gt caning oso...y sacrifice all these when u can try and solve it without violence...wad an idiotic idealogy...i shld have return the favour...and see if i can land 1 in hospital...last time is study 1st mah...nw i dun care liao..dun piss me off lol...

secondary 4,

those 2 bastards follow up as well...apparently they din get back to hell...and those ill treatment continue until i cannot put it up anymore...i broke down during the parent meet session...my grades dropped like drastically la....over these 2 yrs...its like 3.99/4 GPA drop to 1.20/4 GPA...yea...those shit asses...tmd...anyway secondary 4 is a very busy yr for me as im preparing for my N lvl...nver thought that in the end its so easy i laughed during exams...lol...i have my thanks to my teachers who have been teaching me all these while...ms jocelyn chew(then, nw married le..lol) , ms karen ang, mr chia, mr thiru, mdm sarah i want to say THANK YOU FOR UR EFFORTS IN TEACHING US! haha...in the end my N lvl best 3 is 7 out of the condition of 10...meng gt 6...pwn me by 1 grade...he's is best 3 all grade 2s...wtf...mine is two 2s and four 3s therefore best 3 add up a total of 7...dammit...lol...then we had our prom nite at york hotel...which is like an ulu hotel until me and my dad go explore and found it somewhere behind far east plaza...hahaha...was surprise how some girls u din notice very much in sch looks stunning when they doll up...*_* haha...right...heres the last part liao...sec 5...my last yr in hillgrove sec...

secondary 5,

b4 i begin, sec 5 is a yr where i can say its the most peaceful yr ever...the class is at its best...every1 had fun....those 2 bastards no longer bother...but they are still bastards nonetheless...sec 5 is a time when teachers become friends and we talk like friends talk instead of student to teacher kind of talk....though my grades still sux...i felt that sec 5 is very memorable...

when sch starts again...we found that our class is a very small class...small class that will have to house approx 40 students....-.- when the IPPT comes and we seal up the classroom....the classroom is a sauna sia....haha...so anyway...i think it sort of band us together...our friendship day prj was the best way to show it...result is that we are the overall champ...no 1 can pwn us le...lol...we gt our slogan :"the door is there" we have the record no. of different types of things that broke: window pane, door handle, fake wall, OHP projector and projector....we develop a well covered sentry system....to watch for tcher...lol...we have the fastest reaction time to quiet down which is like 15s? when the sentry alert us...haha...zoom...all back to their seats and diam diam....lol...karen ang throw a chair at rh cos he said he 1st qn for prelims he gt wrong LOL....i stay back almost every day either to study or to crap and slack...lol...when class cleaning is occuring...askdee put on a white mask and a sweater wif a hood over his head and scare the lower secs and those girls opp. our class. ...he position himself at the window pane there and wait for them to see...lol...a couple of them screamed...hahaha....my whole class went crazy...haha...with laughter that is...haha...then he do that stunt again...this time when the girls look back...he use a rag and clean the 'face' which is the mask...then continue to the window panes...lol...we frighten the other classes during our international friendship dayby positioning a toy snake on our window panes outside a corridor...which freak out the whole class...even the guys...they din expect it and tot its a real snake...1 of the guys actually screamed...XD...sec 5 is crazy as well....apart from those hilarious moments...tchers oso go on top speed and pump us with hmwks...of other sch test paper...to prep us for our O lvls. its stressful but we can still manage...and so this lifestyle continue until our O lvls come...

epilogue,

...lol...after the O lvls...we are suppose to relax and wait for the grad nite right...but no.....me and my friends help out in the grad nite...blwing balloons and all for the grad nite for those graduates to enjoy...FOR US TO ENJOY and we have to sweat it out....juniors these days...haiz....lol...during grad nite its like dining in a restraunt...except that its more chaotic...took pics and i give a presentation to show our thanks...i fuck up....haha....after the grad nite WE HELP TO CLEAN UP OSO...FOC OSO..wth....lol...then we taunt...go watch casino royale , play pool, pa lan until 6.30am...reach home at around 8am....slp until afternoon then wake up...haha...then comes JAE...which is rather hectic but fun...i tour every poly...except TP...and RP....y? cos TP is i cfm cannot and wont go 1...(1 reason is that its frigging far) RP is i put as my class choice and i cfm can go de...but i dun like RP becos of their lvl of recognition of their diploma to the whole world. stay up at my friend house to collate all the data and sent it all at 8pm...lol...we reach his house at around 12.30pm....the longest time ever to tong at his hse...2 wks after i realise i gt into NP mechanical engineering...haha...happy! i could go into the course...4th choice...but wad the heck, I STILL GT INTO NP lol!
